I love my little Parlor guitar. For such a tiny box, there is an incredible amount of musical expression, and a big sound described by players as open, airy, bright, and with good separation of tone. The parlor guitar is built with a one-piece neck and scarfed headstock for simple beauty and strength. My favorite is any rosewood back and sides and a German top, with a 1 3/4" nut width. I usually shape my 12-fret parlor guitar neck with a subtle V shape, reminiscent of the vintage guitars after which it is fashioned, but very comfortable and easy to play.
